Dates in order
- 1962: the network starts with Place Ville Marie (Tourisme Montréal).
Size, as the sources give it
Tourisme Montréal gives the network as 33 kilometres, and says it is used by nearly 500,000 people a day.
What kind of sources these are
Two user-edited encyclopedia articles. The Canadian Encyclopedia, Britannica and the Tourisme Montréal pages were tried and did not give us usable text, so every figure here rests on Wikipedia and carries its internal conflicts.
