Prince Edward County, Ontario

By Ines Keane

Prince Edward County lies on the north shore of Lake Ontario. VQA Ontario lists it as a designated viticultural area, recognized in 2007.

Sandbanks Provincial Park sits in the county. Ontario Parks describes its dunes as the world’s largest baymouth barrier dune formation, and notes that the park’s position jutting out into Lake Ontario makes it a bird migration hotspot in spring and fall.

Sephari does not yet have sourced, checked profiles of makers in the county.
